1. Service Agreement

By engaging Total Renovation Zone for any services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions governing our professional relationship. All services are performed according to contracted specifications, applicable building codes, industry best practices, and mutually agreed timelines. Written proposals constitute binding agreements once signed by both parties.

2. Payment Terms

Payment schedules are outlined in individual project contracts typically requiring deposits upon contract signing (15-25%), progress payments at predetermined milestones, and final payment upon satisfactory completion and inspection. Late payments incur 1.5% monthly interest. Accepted payment methods include checks, bank transfers, credit/debit cards, and approved financing arrangements.

3. Scope Changes & Modifications

Any modifications to agreed project scope must be submitted in writing and approved by both parties prior to implementation. Change orders affecting timeline or costs require documented authorization. We reserve the right to adjust pricing and schedules accordingly for approved modifications while maintaining transparent communication throughout.

4. Warranty Provisions

Warranty coverage begins upon final payment receipt and project sign-off. Warranties cover defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions. Damage resulting from misuse, unauthorized modifications, natural disasters, or failure to perform recommended maintenance voids warranty coverage. Specific terms vary by service tier as documented in individual agreements.

5. Liability Limitations

Our total liability for any claims arising from services rendered shall not exceed the total contract value for the specific project in question. We maintain comprehensive general liability insurance with limits exceeding $2,000,000 per occurrence. Clients are responsible for securing appropriate homeowner's insurance covering renovation periods.

6. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made within 72 hours of contract signing receive full deposit refunds. Cancellations between 72 hours and project commencement forfeit deposits covering administrative and procurement costs. Once work begins, cancellation requires payment for completed work, materials procured, and reasonable cancellation fees as specified in individual contracts.

7. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from services shall first attempt resolution through direct negotiation between parties. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes proceed to binding mediation administered by American Arbitration Association rules. Litigation, if necessary, occurs exclusively in Trumbull County, Ohio courts under applicable Ohio law.
